You know how often we lose our way in life, like ships blown off course, no longer heading exactly where we want to go now? If you are looking for more out of life, more from yourself, I can help. What I do in my counseling is to help people chart a new course for themselves based on who they are now - a course that will take them where they truly want to go, more effortlessly, more quickly.
I assist clients develop well being, utilizing their own internal resources. My specialty is depression/anxiety, but because people who suffer from depression & anxiety usually have an underlying cause, I help people take control of their lives to better meet the challenges, transitions, etc, emphasizing their strengths, not pathology.
I offer grief work for pet loss, something that is very painful for people who have lost their best friend. The human-animal bond is continually being researched because of the special relationship between pets & their owners. I have a special section on my website dealing with this issue.
