Life is meant to be enjoyed, but we each have to struggle no matter where we are in life to get where we are going. I enjoy working with my clients to find additional hope, skills, strength, and healing to move through life's challenges. I work with clients who have gone to traditional therapy and continue to have unresolved issues as well as clients new to therapy. I am specialized in Trauma, EMDR, IFS and ART modalities and I work with a broad range of clients struggling with trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, PTSD, relationships, couples work, school issues and feeling stressed, lost, stuck or hurt.
When we endure hurt, it changes the way we see our world and how safe we feel. This can cause fears, numbing, errors in thinking, perfectionism, people pleasing, anger, abandonment, commitment issues, eating and body issues, and feelings of not being good enough. This is painful, but with out skills and healing it can cause suffering.
This life is meant to have joy not suffering. As a private practice therapist I enjoy healing suffering and helping my clients restore hope and joy into their lives. This is possible for everyone. There is no pain too big, no hurt too deep, no part too broken that cannot be healed. I enjoy working hard with my clients and walking this journey together.
