Hi! I'm Paula Bishop, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have over 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children. I have helped folks transform their thoughts and feelings into constructive forms of action. I work with clients (children, adults) with mild anxiety from outside pressure such as school, work, family, etc. I've always had the ability to empathize with folks struggling with the daily work grind. I've also struggled with workplace anxiety and can relate to those who experience workplace issues.
I help my clients by creating an on-line environment that encourages open communication. My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate with a good sense of humor. I believe folks truly have the answers/solutions to their own situation. Most folks just need to "talk it out" to come to that conclusion.
Sometimes life can feel a bit overwhelming and leave us feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, sadness or uncertainty, especially when we feel alone.
