I work with adults of all ages who seek the greatest access to their abilities and skills, wish to understand and accept themselves more fully by mitigating both internal and external obstacles, experience compassion, and act with social responsibility. Such goals may to grapple overcome low self esteem, maintain sobriety, come to terms with painful life experiences, and develop reality-based trust in relatioonships.
Jungian analysis assumes our our brains are busy night and day, often with matters we prefer to disregard, such as personal attributes we have learned to dislike, and experiences at odds with the selves we want to present to our own or others' eyes. By identifying these lacks and distortions, the work can shift negative moods and destructive assumptions.
I tend to like and respect my clients. Forty years of clinical experience have given me a sense of whom I can and can't help. If I doubt I can do my best work with you, I'll tell you at the end of our initial consultation, try to refer you elsewhere, and not charge for my time.
