I work with children, adolescents and adults of all genders and am licensed to treat both mental health and substance use disorders. My focus is on whole person care, which takes into account factors about a person's biology, psychology and social context. When a person becomes more aware of themselves and others, it can often facilitate personal growths. I offer an emotionally safe atmosphere to assist clients in processing without fear of judgement.
I believe that understanding the mind/body connection is essential to personal growth. If we understand how our bodies affect our minds and vice versa, we are more empowered to choose our responses to situations.
I have a broad range of experience and am able to address most treatment issues. My experience includes treating adults and children adolescents for both mental health and substance use disorders. I have worked in many different levels of care (outpatient, intensive outpatient, intensive in home, assertive community treatment, hospital ER and residential).
