Let me start by telling you a little about myself. I have been a licensed practicing clinician since 2010. I have been extensively trained in a specialized form of therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but I also practice general talk therapy. I enjoy working with adolescents, college students, and adults with a wide range of challenges, such as Borderline Personality Disorder, depression (including postpartum), bipolar disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, self-harm, identity issues, relationship issues, and impulsivity. I also have experience working with patients in acute psychiatric crisis.
I believe goodness of fit and connection between therapist and client is essential to the success of therapy. I foster a validating, non-judgmental, and inclusive space for you to feel comfortable to share your story. My approach is individually tailored to each client to help them achieve their goals through insight, awareness, accountability, and action.
