I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar, stress, and relationship difficulties. My approach is guided by the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) model, a third wave cognitive behavioral way of working with clients that incorporates mindfulness. I believe that the foundation to healthy functioning starts with sleep, diet, exercise, and mindfulness. I work with clients on a combination of self-compassion, changing behavioral habits, and changing cognitive habits.
I believe that therapy is a partnership where we work together to set goals and work towards them. I see Individuals, couples, and families under the direction of Meg McLeory, LMFT and supervision of Joel Baker, LMFT.
