It is my hope that I and each person I work with intentionally strive toward living a more emotionally healthy life. You might be seeking better relationships with others or wish to feel better about yourself. Symptoms of anxiety or depression may affect you and your ability to "show up" for those you care about. The impact of trauma may be "taking you out" of your ability to focus and remain present to yourself and others. You may have mild to chronic symptoms that have previously been diagnosed or instead may just feel confusing or unwanted. We can explore these and develop a plan to help you build and live a meaningful life.
My therapeutic focus often explores issues affecting attachment, with the goal to help clients become grounded in a secure sense of self and enjoy secure relationships with others. Our work may include aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Polyvagal Theory, and possibly Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Finding a therapist who is a good fit for you may seem daunting. It can help to have a brief phone or video consultation to discuss what brought you to this point and think about what next steps might be the most helpful. Call or email to schedule a free 10-minute consultation.
