Greetings- Working with families and individuals for over 20 years, It’s a honor to work with clients as well as meet them where they are in their personal journey. Every individual has a story, but not everyone knows how to give voice to it. Healing comes through having a safe place to tell the story, and a safe person to hear it. Each time I sit with a client, I am humbled by their courage. I hold each story as sacred, as together we purpose to find meaning, healing, and hope.
My approach is strongly influenced by attachment theory. We are relational beings born into families. There are friendships, school relationships, clubs, teams, jobs and romantic relationships. Relationships can be good, even great, but many times there are struggles, pain, trauma and grief.
Often the reality of life cannot be changed. It is possible though to gain understanding and learn how to move forward. It is not about "getting over" something, but about moving through to a new place with hope. It would be my honor to work with you.
