I specialize in children, adolescents, families, and couples. For all of my professional career I have focused on children and families, although my post masters' academic work has allowed me the opportunity to practice as a couples' therapist as well. My approach in my psychotherapy practice is individualized to my client's needs and includes shared goals between therapist and client.
I have extensive experience in treating trauma & anxiety; relationship conflicts; play therapy; ADHD; and parenting issues, I am comfortable with one person or a whole family in my office if that's what it takes to facilitate growth, healing, and/or problem solving.
I provide play therapy for younger children, which includes but is not limited to puppets, art, games, dolls and dollhouse.
