I believe people are capable of personal growth and change at all stages in life. My approach is strengths-based and person-centered. Based on the needs of my client, I use a variety of interventions including; cognitive-behavioral, Lifespan Integration, and dialectical behavior therapy. I have worked with persons struggling with homelessness, addictions and domestic violence and I am familiar with twelve-step processes. As a parent of four grown children, I recognize the challenges and benefits of family relationships.
I enjoy working with people and I am an attentive listener. I have training in Parent Child Interaction therapy and Lifespan Integration. I have attended workshops focused on anxiety, anger and aging. I can provide a safe place for you to explore and assess life's challenges and discover personal strengths to meet those challenges.
If you are looking for someone with life experience and an encouraging approach to therapy, please contact me.
