In counseling, I believe that everyone has the ability to face difficult situations, overcome challenges and learn new skills. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance. I take a holistic and trauma-informed approach to treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, marital and family conflict, pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, and parenting challenges.
My experience includes working with adults, couples, teens and families with a variety of challenges. I specialize in the treatment of teens, family conflict, couple's issues, pregnancy and postpartum adjustment. I work collaboratively with you to process experiences, build coping strategies, and work on healthy communication and relationships.
I believe that you are the expert on your own life. Throughout the therapy process, I will explore what is most important to you, and check-in to see if counseling is working for you. My hope is that when therapy ends, you have achieved greater levels of confidence, self-awareness and ability to cope with difficult life experiences.
