I enjoy helping children and families work together through challenges faced at school and home. I feel many obstacles can eventually be looked upon as a catalyst for growth especially in the areas of resiliency and confidence. I have a true understanding of the needs of children in the school setting. I like to use practical ways to involve the child in being an active participant in therapy and work closely with the parents to tailor a plan that best fits their unique needs. I enjoy working with families who face the unique challenges children with special needs face along with their siblings.
If requested, I will incorporate a faith based approach with children and families. I have a strong sense of 'being' with my clients and genuinely care for them to live their best life.
