When we are very young, we adapt to our environments to get our needs met for love and safety. And we continue to use those adaptions unconsciously as adults. I can help you understand your symptoms and help you change so that you may be more " in the moment" and experience more peace and joy. I teach Mindfulness, use Internal Family Systems Approach (IFS), EMDR and Hypnotherapy, and the Polyvagal theory.
I like to develop warm and trusting relationships with my clients. As we work together we will identify the parts of yourself that you developed to cope as a child. We will understand why they developed, how they have helped you and how YOU can be in charge to fortify your Self.
An ancient Sufi saying... "when the ego weeps for what it has lost, the spirit rejoices for what it has found." When we are confronted with fear and anxiety, it is an opportunity to find ourselves. Together and patiently, we will do that.
