Hello, I am Patricia Alice, LCSW and I have provided outpatient psychotherapy services for over 42 years. I am a generalist and now work exclusively with tele-health. Therefore, my experience is a unique blend of breadth and depth. I have worked with a very wide range of issues. Most seek help for depression, anxiety, panic attacks, past/current trauma, family issues, bipolar diagnosis, relationship problems, work and career issues, postpartum depression, parenting and grief/loss as well as life transition issues like retirement and/or aging.
I am ‘down to earth’ and direct. I frequently utilize humor. I am positive and upbeat and look for client actions to indicate their improvement and response to treatment. I make suggestions for change or insight during sessions and provide encouragement with client follow up.
Psychotherapy is a very effective way to reduce human suffering. I experienced much growth through my own use of therapy many years ago. Through that experience I realized this was the right path for me. At this point I have had a long and productive career doing what I enjoy and have helped many people in the process. The rewards have been remarkable.
