Welcome! My practice offers support and assistance for those struggling with life's challenges. Life can be tricky sometimes, and we can find ourselves at a crossroads. We are taught to keep going, hoping things will get better on their own. We often repeat the same cycles, hoping for different results, without significantly changing our behavior. After a substantial loss or a painful event, many try to normalize their feelings without resolution. Avoiding these issues only adds to further stress, depression, insomnia, and anxiety. The good news is that you can be content and live the life you deserve.
Using strength-based tools such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques, we will identify the behavior patterns causing you distress. The first step is to recognize the triggers and influences in your life. The second step is to commit to change and focus on what is important to you. Together, we can create goals and solutions to address your needs.
My education includes professional counseling, spirituality, and being part of the Men's Movement for the past twenty-five years. My clinical experience in addiction, stress, and anxiety, including trauma and PTSD, has taught me no two stories are the same, but we all share a similar path.
