I am a bicultural psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, adults, and families. In addition to private practice, I have clinical experience in community based settings such as schools, mental health centers, foster/adoption care, and psychiatric hospitals. My therapeutic approach is relational trauma informed, rooted in Psycho Dynamic Theory, Dialectal Behavior therapy, Mindful Self-compassion (MSC), and Family Systems.
Through therapy I can help you achieve your goals, increase understanding of yourself and increase ways to cope with difficult emotions and life challenges. I specialize in culturally sensitive therapy, working together to increase your skills and capacity to deal effectively with loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
With a non-judgmental stance, I believe we all can benefit from support in dealing with life's many challenges & triggers, especially that we are collectively facing increased societal disruptions in our world.
