As a Child & Family Therapist and Art Therapist, I assist children and families in healing, enhancing growth, family cohesiveness, and increasing the family's ability to weather life's stressors. Through the use of cognitive behavioral techniques, art therapy and play therapy techniques, family members are able to expand their capacity for healing, and happiness.
I see children ages 3 to 18 years of age, families, and adults. My work has been described as engaging, playful, interactive, humorous, and gentle.
I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties with children, drug and alcohol issues, parenting issues, and optimizing symptom management for individuals and families dealing with major mental illness.
Clients fully participate in deciding treatment goals and length of treatment.
Art Therapy is particularly helpful when verbal communication is difficult.
