Do you want to live a life that is meaningful to you? I have worked extensively with adolescents, college students and adults struggling with anxiety, perfectionism and people pleasing tendencies. In addition, I have worked with many teachers and other educational staff experiencing burnout. My work as a former school social worker allows me a unique perspective. We will explore the root causes of your struggles while building coping strategies to lead you to a more fulfilling life. Learning new strategies will be a part of your journey.
I offer a trauma informed approach which encourages self awareness, promoting change and growth in you. My approach focuses on you and your goals. You may want to discover how your past experiences have led to your current situation. We will focus on the present and find ways to cope and manage. I incorporate DBT and CBT strategies as needed.
As a clinician I want to support my clients in their journey. My approach is compassionate and supportive. Humor is also a must! I want you to feel you are in a safe and nonjudgemental space. I believe everyone has a story that deserves to be heard. I invite you to share your story.
