You are unique and so is your story, and it does not have to end in just one way. At some time or another, every one of us will face difficulties; reaching out to a new counselor can be a scary thing! No matter where you are in your life, I will meet you there with a calming, warm, nonjudgmental, and non-blaming presence to help you identify and work through whatever is weighing heavy on you and holding you back from living to your desired potential.
Some common life experiences that I work with are anxiety, depression, addictions, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship issues, and imbalances in overall wellness. I have specialized experience working with athletes, people who have body image concerns, struggle with disordered eating, and compulsive exercise.
I believe that each person can heal though a willingness to reauthor their stories by exploring patterns, themes, and ways of doing things that may be outdated and no longer serve a purpose. We will uncover the root of problems and the relationship that we hold with that problem, align with values, and work towards feeling and functioning better.
