I am currently an Associate Licensed Counselor and have been a High School Counselor for three years. I have experience in working with children and adolescents with a variety of issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and family conflicts. I enjoy using solution focused brief therapy in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy but at the core of all that I do, I strive to keep the sessions client-centered.
It is important to me to create an interactive, integrative, and positive environment to allow clients a space to learn, grow and cope with the challenges that may arise in life. I believe that respect and compassion are important to help create that safe space so clients feel seen, heard and supported as they move through those challenges.
