Hello! My name is Gregg and I help people through some of the tough times in their lives. I believe that we adjust to new experiences using the tools we already possess and a desire to thrive in new surroundings, but sometimes this striving to survive can cause us emotional and behavioral difficulties. I provide supportive guidance through these situations using tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative, and existential therapies, from the psychodynamic approach.

Our lives are defined by our relationships. However, maintaining and nourishing these relationships can be a challenge. I specialize in working with children, teen and adult individuals as well as family systems being impacted by depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse, eating disorders, LGBTQ+ topics, trauma processing/PTSD, relational challenges and behavioral disorders. Drawing from a variety of treatment approaches including Experiential, Acceptance and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (one of the most effective treatments for many chronic, recurring, and challenging mental health conditions), I foster connection and the emotional experience, authenticity, empathic understanding and compassion.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and earned my degree from Chestnut Hill College with a specialty in psychological assessment, and I recently went back and earned my Certification in School Psychology. I completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders across the lifespan at an Autism Center for Excellence in Philadelphia. I received extensive training with (ADOS) Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition and have the knowledge and expertise in gold standard evaluation practices to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder in children as young as 18 months.

Spearheaded by eating disorder specialists Dr. Stacy Hunt, Clinical Psychologist and Leah Frazee, RD, LND, Bucks Eating Support Collaborative provides comprehensive and quality care for patients of all ages and genders dealing with disordered eating in a HAES informed framework and a body neutrality lens. With two Bucks County locations, Bucks ESC provides individual therapy, family, nutrition and group sessions. Our group of providers also offers trauma support, LGBTQ support, co-occurring Dx, ARFID, & PANS/PANDAS related eating concerns. We also work with athletes with eating disorders and disordered eating.

In my 5 years of counseling experience I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals, families, and groups. I have had the privilege to work with many children and have experience with ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, and PTSD. I have also lead youth groups focusing on the building of social and coping skills which have included working on the art of conversation (putting down the devices), and anger management. I have worked with families identifying conflicts and working on strategies to better manage children. Additionally I have experience with relationship counseling, divorce, anxiety and depression.

As a trauma-informed counselor, I clinically treat the client's symptoms with a talk-and-body therapeutic approach. I teach my clients coping strategies that are tweaked to be adaptive to the ASD/ADHD child/adult's neurodiversity in addition to the neurotypical populations' symptoms/sensory intrusions that are known or unknown reason(s) for the client's behavior(s) like anxiety mismanagement or a spontaneous violent outburst that at any age often do self-sabotage one's hoped for a good outcome(s).

Christina Gilardi received her Bachelor of Arts from Temple University and went on to study at Cairn University where she earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. Christina then went on to pass her National Boards and received her accreditation of Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. Her skills and experience are focused around individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy and marriage counseling as well. She is deeply committed to her clients’ well-being and can easily inspire trust, warmth and rapport.
