Supporting parents and teens/children is something close to my heart. Whether it be eating struggles, parenting concerns, school stresses, life transitions, anxiety and/or depression, I am able to come along side you and support using a variety of modalities. For over 35 years, I have worked collaboratively with individuals and couples who are navigating life transitions and challenges in search of reduced stress, healing, and growth. Through the use of empowering, supportive, solutions-focused strategies, I specialize in personal and relationship improvement with an objective of finding resiliency, joy, and meaning in life as well as creating loving, supportive relationships. Navigating the difficult waters of divorce and supervising other therapists are areas of specialty, in addition to couples counseling, parenting coaching, and conflict management in interpersonal relationships.

I enjoy empowering the individuals that I work with to help them make a decision in the direction they would like to see their lives go. Through several Cognitive Behavior Techniques, we are able to discover faulty cognitive patterns that may or may not have led to automatic negative thoughts (ANTS). As we discover those faulty cognitive thinking patterns, we are able to help individuals reframe negative thought patterns to help relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety, and raise self-esteem. I am also trained in EMDR. Sometimes painful memories get locked in our brains. EMDR helps process those memories, where the brain does it all.
