Because my background includes a range of approaches from psychodynamic, to family systems, Gestalt, and psychodrama, it is possible for me to choose an approach that will be best suited to each person and situation.
There are times when we know we need a thoughtful, compassionate and skillful listener to help us sort things out. I have helped many people move through life transitions and losses with resilience; resolve relationship problems and discern new directions for work, school and creative expression.

Opt for evidence-based, cutting edge individual or group therapy based on The Hakomi Method, Gestalt, IFS, Jungian Tarot—or even Quantum Touch and shamanic energy healing if you’d like.
“I love my therapist, but we’ve hit a plateau,” potential clients often say when reaching out to me. Or they’re tired of being treated like they’re broken. If you’ve spent years in therapy and are ready to go deeper and experience profound shifts and lasting change, try mindfulness-based, somatic (body-mind) psychotherapy and inner parts work. In short time, most new clients say, “Wow, that was very different from what I expected!”—in a positive way. If you’re a highly sensitive person (HSP), empath, or old soul yearning to be truly understood and are ready to process more deeply and talk and analyze less, welcome!

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have experience with trauma, depression, anxiety and addiction, using Gestalt techniques integrated with Person-Centered and Existential approaches.
Making the first step towards counseling shows courage and commitment to your wellbeing, but can also create feelings of vulnerability. You may carry feelings of hesitation, fear, sadness, or just sheer exhaustion in your day-to-day. Together, we can tune into what those look like for you. I specialize in counseling adults in early and middle adulthood struggling with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, trauma recovery, or addiction issues.

I pull from music therapy (if you're open to that!), Gestalt, person-centered, and CBT counseling theories.
Accepting new clients! You often feel like you are navigating a world that was not meant for you. You have spent years trying to find "your place" in the chaos but continue to struggle with where that is and how to even begin exploring that in a way that feels safe and supportive. Honestly, you have a hard time envisioning what it would even feel like to have found "your place". You often feel "other" and "on the outside", which makes social and romantic relationships difficult and only exacerbates the feelings and experiences you already struggle with on a daily basis. Anxiety, grief and loss, depression, neurodiversity, stress...

I pull from a plethora of therapeutic modalities and techniques, though I have a strong base in psychodynamic, gestalt, and existential psychotherapy.
Trauma is stored mentally and physically inside of us. It is not something you can just "get over". You may try to forget it, but this only provides, at best, temporary relief. The path to healing is not through removing the pain of the trauma, but rather through understanding and developing a healthy relationship with it. This is not easy, and can often be long and frightening process, but it can lead to not only an a reclaimed sense of self-worth, but also a healthier and more fulfilling relationship with the world around you. If any of this resonates with you, we may work well together on your journey to healing and wholeness.

Hi There! I am so glad that you are taking the time to get your needs met by searching for your perfect support team in a therapist. We are all deserving of support, wouldn't you agree? It is rare that we do what we need for ourselves, and I love enabling people to meet their needs through a therapeutic relationship. Through my EMDR Certification, I specialize in supporting people who have experienced adverse life events. If you have suffered abuse, relational hardship, grief and loss, work-stressors, mood issues, anxiety or depression, and many more, I would love to support you in the healing relationship that therapy offers.

My style of counseling is relaxed, compassionate, and non-judgemental. Working primarily from a Gestalt perspective, which does not assume pathology, I also draw from practical mindfulness, yoga and vedanta, and the Enneagram as needed. So much of the world feels like complete shite right now. Within our control is the ability to learn about and care for ourselves, the benefits of which extend to all with whom we interact as well.

I utilize elements of the relational approach, Gestalt therapy, and some aspects of CBT, which are tailored to your unique needs.
You are tired of thinking about the worst-case scenarios when it comes to your work and current/future relationships. You are tired of listening to the never-ending dialogue of your inner critic that you are not good enough to keep you stuck. You are tired of accommodating others but not putting yourself first without tremendous guilt or feeling selfish. You want to feel empowered, gain confidence, and access your resilience. It’s time to get joy and excitement back into your life. It's time to start showing up for yourself!

I guide mindfulness, Gestalt Therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), a strengths-based approach, and brief/solution-focused interventions.
Planning to expand the practice in 2023; you're welcome to make and inquiry in case I have an opening. Would you like your perspective on life to change and grow in ways that support greater well-being, empowerment, and a sense of balance? Life is constantly changing and presenting challenges. I support people who are willing to look honestly at themselves, learn new skills, and make changes that may initially be scary but, with support and growth of your confidence, changes that are possible. I also work with couples who wish to deepen their relationship, to be more present with one another, and to communicate more effectively.

Are you feeling stuck or unhappy at home, work or school? Using food to manage stress? Struggling with a relationship? Using experiential techniques beyond basic "talk therapy," I create a safe space helping clients remove the blocks that are keeping them from living a joy-filled life. Many of the approaches I use with clients supported me in my own process of healing from depression and an eating disorder. I now happily share these techniques with my clients. Specializations: Relationship issues, Food issues, Depression, Parenting, Anxiety. Couples therapy (all couples including LGBTQ and polyamorous couples welcome).
