Are you in crisis? Do you feel stuck? I work with many people who feel this way and have helped them to understand and embrace their experiences. As a marriage and family therapist, I can help you figure things out. I will work with you to explore the stresses in your life and sort out what makes you feel happy and fulfilled. You owe this to yourself and the people who care about you to act now. Most people wait 7 years to seek help. Don't be that person. www.NewHopeForYourRelationships.com

I am fully certified as and EMDR therapist, and within that, Ego State Therapy, the use of parts of the self is most important. Also, the mind and body connection is something that I explore with all of my clients. I had a career of many years out in industry, so that allows me to identify with my clients much more. I have lived a life they are living now and had many of the same difficulties.

I teach people how to create their best life and help them make important life decisions.
I love being a counselor and a teacher. I like helping people figure out what they want from their life and how to make the changes and tap into the resources to make that happen. To learn how to create balance in every area. One of my favorite expressions is people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. The reason I became a counselor is to help make a difference one person at a time.

At the heart of making positive changes in our life is examining our thought processes and beliefs about ourselves, our relationships and the world around us in general. Whether you are seeking individual or couples counseling, navigating current challenges, struggling with past trauma or difficult emotions, your mental fitness is foundational to your success.

I’d love to help you or a member of your family get the help they need to get back to a life they see is worth living.
Sometimes the best form of therapy doesn’t have to look like therapy. When working with young adolescents, college students, and adults in individual therapy, I often hear about their challenges feeling stuck, not like themselves, and essentially hopeless. I have over 10 years of experience providing counseling with diverse populations from various religious beliefs, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ communities. My work has often involved helping individuals gain the tools to overcome various mood disorders, anxiety (general, social, and performance), depression, identity exploration, and communication challenges.

Our goal in therapy is not to pathologize by asking “what is wrong with me”, but to expand understanding of how life experiences influence who we are, how we relate, respond interpersonally and how our belief systems may limit our capacity to self-realize.
Everyone possesses innate abilities and strengths that shape personal growth. Taking the first step to heal is courageous - striving for balance through self-discovery is the ultimate act of self-compassion. The heart of my practice is centered on how our experiences shape our brain, body and stress responses – how these emotional templates impact how we learn to cope with difficult emotions and their effect on our capacity to connect and realize our potential. I am passionate about helping adults, couples and adolescents develop skills that empower them to overcome obstacles, navigate life transitions and live a fulfilling life.

Way to go! Just by being here and looking on this site, you are talking the first steps to being your whole self. You should feel proud today for this! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of therapy experience, I work with clients to find ways through the struggles they are experiencing to reach a place of solace where they feel able to manage the pressures of life. I use evidence-based approaches to help clients create lasting changes, and not just “Band-Aid” solutions.

I want clients to feel they can share their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences (including trauma) with me and feel safe while doing so.
Hi, I'm Vicki Glabb! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and hold a National Counselor Certification (NCC). I have over 20 years of Counseling experience in a variety of settings. Currently, I provide Telehealth Counseling from your place of comfort (home, work, outdoors, etc.). I take an eclectic approach to therapy, combining different modalities to fit the needs of each individual Client. I find using a combination of therapeutic modalities to be most successful. Counseling is not one size fits all, it often requires a mixture of approaches to address concerns.

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
