I have practiced biblically-based, non-judgmental and relational psychotherapy with empathy and results for 13 years. Integrating CBT with deep work, we reduce symptoms but also work towards lasting healing and transformation through renewal of the mind and heart, and developing a meaningful sense of worth, identity, and purpose. My passion is working with children, teenagers, young adults, couples and families to process trauma and difficult experiences so they can experience growth and healing within themselves and their relationships. Through my work with individuals and family's I have learned the deep importance of understanding "what has happened" to people rather than viewing people through the lens of "what is wrong with people".

I have been working in mental health and substance abuse for over 40 years. I can help those who want a well seasoned professional who can help you identify obstacles in your life and how best to overcome them. I still have people stay in touch with me from 25 years ago and let me know their progress. Trauma, stress, self medication, anxiety and depression are all topics i can assist with. Honestly, I can assess your situation usually in the first session or 2 and give you a pretty good idea of what direction therapy will go and where we would start.
