I am a licensed psychologist with more than 20 years of experience. I use both a skill building and a developmental approach in therapy. Skill development includes affect management, stress/anger management, and resolving marital conflict and communication problems. A developmental approach considers your unique story of childhood and how you became the person you are today. Approaches include Attachment Theory, Schema Therapy, and brain development.

Anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and/or co-dependency can get in the way of having confidence in yourself or getting what you really want in relationships or even loving yourself. I'll "roll up my sleeves" and help find real answers and new pathways that will make a difference. The chronic cycle of trying to deal with it and feeling like you are getting no where can end. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a dual doctorate in clinical and health psychology. I provide evidence-based, goal-oriented individual therapy services for adults with various mental health needs, such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. I also have specialized training in behavioral medicine, including assessing and treating insomnia and emotional distress due to acute and chronic illness.

I work with individuals ages 13 and up and couples. I assist people in coping with life transitions, anxiety issues, depression, mood swings, communication issues and a number of multiple other concerns. I utilize a number of different modalities to assist each individual, and couple, in obtaining their goals for increased life satisfaction and contentment.
