Hello, My name is Dr. Louis Teller. I am a psychotherapist in the suburban Philadelphia area. I believe in creating a warm, caring, client-centered atmosphere to foster dialog that leads to complete understanding of the issues at hand. A working knowledge of my clients' interests, family, friends, and support system, are an integral aspect of therapy. Bucks Recovery Center, a branch of Bucks Support Services, has two locations in Bucks County, PA (Newtown & Buckingham). We are a supportive space for clients in ongoing recovery from substance use, alcoholism, and addiction, featuring: individual, family and group psychotherapy; community-based support groups; and educational outreach. The therapists at Bucks Recovery Center use a "Harm Reduction" model and can support many modalities of recovery treatment.

As a child and family therapist, I treat children from pre-school through adolescents. Treatment of younger children may address behavioral, learning, social and emotional issues. Specialize in working with children who have learning or attentional disorders. Accurate diagnosis includes consultation with teachers and pediatricians. Treatment of adolescents may address anxiety, depression, school and social concerns and family problems. Have significant experience counseling children and families going through divorce. Also, conduct divorce mediation and couples counseling. As a forensic specialist, specialize in conducting child custody evaluations.

I believe that we are all going through something in our lives and that from time to time we need the help of someone else to get through particularly rough patches. I can also help you develop a plan to work on taking care of yourself.
