I work from a Cognitive Behavioral approach along with a Dialectical Behavioral approach in order to challenge and reframe thoughts along with developing healthy coping strategies to counteract emotional distress. I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, prisons, outpatient practices, jails, hospitals, academic medical centers, inpatient mental health units, and sports settings. Notably, I have experience and confidence working with clients affected by grief, depression, anxiety, TBIs, OCD, sports performance dysfunction, adjustment disorders, marital/relationship concerns, bipolar disorder, and general distress.
