A client who would be a good fit for my services is likely a child, teen, tween, or adult who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, neurodivergence, identity issues, difficulty finding providers fluent in ASL, the effects of trauma, and/or part of the LGBTQIA+ community. My name is Taylor Waters and I am a compassionate and dedicated youth and adolescent therapist committed to guiding young minds through their unique journey. With a background of working with at-risk-youth and a specialization in working with individuals aged 8 to 18, I bring a unique blend of expertise and empathy. One of the reasons that I choose to primarily work with children is my admiration for their incredible resilience despite some very difficult circumstances. I’m inspired by the resilience of children and their ability to “adjust their sails” when the tough winds of life blow. Despite their strength and determination, children often need a helping hand, a friendly face and a listening ear in order to develop resiliency. Hi, I’m Marisol! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 9 years of experience working with teens, young adults, and adults. My background includes having worked in outpatient as well as private practice settings. I most commonly treat anxiety, life transitions, career exploration, ADHD, stress management, parenting support, and depression. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspective but also employ various other therapeutic techniques to help you feel heard, validated, and empowered to make healthy choices.
