I’ve worked with ages 4-18, as well as adults. I have experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, parents, and families dealing with a wide range of challenges including the impacts of generational trauma, parent-child relational challenges, and relational difficulties. Over the 18 years in the behavioral health field, I've attributed my growth and experience to all of the clients I've seen. One of the most difficult aspects of therapy is having to be vulnerable. In order to be vulnerable a client must feel seen, heard, respected and safe. I've worked in multiple settings such as school, corporate healthcare, home, clinic and private practice. I've worked with families, individually, with children, teen and adults with addiction, behavioral health needs and disabilities. Mostly utilizing a strengths based and family systems perspective/model.

When I work with a client, my hope is that the individual will experience a sense of understanding and hopefulness for change in their present situation. I believe that when an individual feels that the clinician is truly invested in "walking with" the "whole person" on their journey, the client will gain a new perspective on their movement in life. When I see individuals who are struggling with anxiety and/or depression, relational concerns, life stressors, and/or loss and transition issues, my main focus is to support the client in developing a hopefulness that positive change is possible.

Welcome to First Children! We are a multi-site psychological, counseling, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) center serving children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and their families. At our STRIVE centers, we provide comprehensive autism services to our clients, including early screening and diagnostic testing (using the ADOS-2), ABA, behavioral parent training, and individual and group counseling. Our services also include sibling support groups, family counseling, social skills groups, and school consultation.
