I am a Mental Health Service Provider seeing clients all across Pennsylvania and Delaware via teletherapy. I have been providing counseling services to children and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief since 2014. I help the people I work with to reframe thoughts, feelings, and reactions and provide valuable tools to allow emotions to be better integrated and accepted.

I know scrolling through Psychology Today profiles can be frustrating, and challenging. Making sense of all of the therapy terms and acronyms, (oh so many of those!) can be exhausting. Assessing and finding your therapist 'fit' shouldn't be impossible. All of us have strengths, and the ability to feel joy. The path to change is often marked with unknown barriers and systemic trauma. My aim is to help others identify interpersonal and systemic barriers standing in the way of growth. I am trauma informed, and an ACES DV survivor and advocate. I work hard to provide a safe space to grow the therapist client alliance.

Now seeing clients during EVENING and WEEKEND hours with some daytime openings. As a licensed psychologist, I provide psychotherapy services to adults facing a wide array of difficulties. I have expertise in working with college-aged individuals and older adults alike. While I believe that pain is an inevitable part of life, suffering can be reduced through the psychotherapy process. I integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies with acceptance-based techniques to foster autonomy, empowerment, and growth. I work with clients on their goals and needs and tailor therapy to the individual/couple using compassion, humor, and curiosity.

I currently have evening and Saturday availability. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I work with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents and adults. My approach is prescriptive eclectic with training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy. I specialize in treating a variety of issues related to stress, career/life balance issues, trauma, anxiety, divorce, grief and loss, depression, self-esteem, bullying and related issues.

I work with individuals with depression, anxiety, relational issues, mood issues, life changes, addiction, grief and trauma concerns. My approaches are strength based and gleaned from a reality and solution focus as well as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches.

Meagan Brown is a native of Canada, and has resided and raised her family in Erie PA for the past 20 years. She is a licensed professional counselor with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gannon University. Meagan aspires to practice what she preaches. She values honesty, respect and boundaries.
