In-person & In-network. Serenity specializes in mental health and substance use counseling for teens and young adults ages 14-28. We provide personalized intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services with an emphasis on peer support and family involvement. At Serenity, we'll work together to identify what works best for you and provide a serene therapeutic space to connect, get support & make positive changes. Most clients begin in our IOP level of care before stepping down to outpatient. Services Include: Comprehensive Assessments, Individual, Group & Family Therapy, Medication Management, Parent Support, Life-Skills, & more.

Each client comes with some for of trauma whether acute, and complex which causes involuntary trauma responses. There are clients who have relationship conflict causing emotional and mood instability that possibly interrupt functionality. Clients are seeking understanding and most of all resolutions to mental, emotional, relational, spiritual and occupational barriers that are in need of hard stops to just have basic quality of life.

My ideal client is an individual who is motivated to improve their overall quality of life. I have a passion for working with individuals who struggle with trauma and PTSD, substance abuse and disordered eating. I believe that a good rapport is key in treatment of these issues and aim to build a positive working therapeutic relationship.

My goal is to allow client to openly address their levels of fear, depression and issues relating to their disorder. Many factors from past encounters result in high levels of depression and mental health conditions. My goal is to allow my client to address these fears and use my services as a three stage process to function independently with the least amount of medication and therapeutic interventions as possible. My overall goal is to address condition using alternative therapeutic problem solving interventions, while at the same time helping them to make changes based on their current condition. I earned a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine, complementing my double major in Psychology and Sociology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I offer counseling services and mental health support to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, specializing in Sports Psychology as a designated provider for the Philadelphia Eagles and use the evidence-based Eco-Systemic Family Therapy Model to help families, couples, and individuals achieve their treatment goals.

This world is full of uncertainty, doubt, pain, joys, triumphs, misery, chaos, peaks and valleys, and all of those moments in between. Compulsive behaviors impact all aspects of one’s life, including thoughts, feelings, and actions. They can lead to various addictions, including substance use, sex, social media, relationships, gambling, and more. People with compulsive behaviors often struggle to align their actions with personal goals. For more than twenty years, I have supported individuals struggling with compulsive behaviors. I built my practice upon the idea that anyone can recover if given the right tools and environment, and I aim to provide a safe space where clients gain insight into their emotions, experiences, and behavioral patterns.

My ideal client would likely suffer from PTSD, anxiety, negative self-talk, and struggles with daily functioning at times. My goal is to help the client obtain their goals of normal daily functioning. My ideal client is brought into therapy and focused on utilizing the tools given in therapy to apply to daily life. A client must want change and be willing to put in the work to obtain it. I am interested in clients who are motivated and engaged to do more.

My ideal population consists of adults with a mental health diagnosis of anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorder, and other increasingly complex diagnoses. However, I am also devoted to assisting those seeking help without a defined diagnosis and who are beginning therapy without a clear vision of treatment needs.
