As a School Counselor serving the tristate area since 2019, I have dedicated the past three years to supporting the unique needs of students within a special education institution. My focus has been on children with cognitive and behavioral needs, where I've honed my skills in providing counseling services to K-12 students across both special education and general education settings. As a child, I faced challenges with mental health and felt misunderstood and unsupported during those difficult times. Through therapy I felt truly heard and understood for the first time, igniting my passion for helping others.

Stephen (Steve) Willmot is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 29 years experience working in mental health. Though much of his experience is in forensic mental health, he also has experience with adults and adolescents in outpatient and community settings. Steve has masters degrees in Counseling & Psychology from Troy University at Dothan, Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and Applied Behavior Analysis, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor credential.
