I believe that we all have our own unique journey in life.The client is the driver of their journey & sets the goals. I'm the vehicle to help you get there. Clients that do best are ones that are serious about committing to the therapeutic process. Activate participation is of major importance! To recover from your pain or reach your goals, you must go through the pain to get over the pain! I specilize in Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Trauma, Grief & Loss, ADHD, effective communication skills, conflict resolution & relationship skills for individuals, couples/families. I also work with family survivors of suicide - SOS.
I draw from different approaches to therapy. I am a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist (evidence based) but also offer Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, and am trained in Humanistic/Existential Therapy. I fit the method to the client, and do not believe that everyone needs or responds to a single therapeutic approach. One size does not fit all.
I offer sessions that fit with mosts clients schedules. I offer FREE 15-20 minute phone consultations. My office is virtual & my license allows me to serve clients who reside throughout WI. My clients have privacy/confidentiality within our sessions & emails & are HIPPA compliant. Virtual Counseling is proven to be as effective as F-to-F sessions.
