I work with individuals and families who are experiencing challenges related to substance use, mood changes, relational/attachment difficulties, and general life transitions. I support and celebrate all identities, relationship orientations, and bodies! My work is grounded in Liberation psychology and I believe in meeting individuals where they are at, and that building safety and support is a community effort that sometimes starts within the therapeutic relationship and grows outward. I specialize in trauma-informed care from an anti-oppression, and liberation lens. I support those I work with through brainspotting, EMDR, sociometric and psychodramatic techniques, harm reduction and other substance use recovery methods, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy; regardless of the method, what matters is who is in front of me
Clinically, my approach is to center the needs of my clients and their communities, by not perceiving myself as the expert, and working in collaboration with the folks I work with. While recognizing that many experience marginalization, stigma, and other barriers when attempting to access mental health support, I hope to provide accessible grounding skills
