I am not currently accepting new clients. Thank you. The collaborative relationship that we create in therapy is a powerful tool for positive change. Therapy leads to increased awareness about the kinds of past and present patterns that cause problems in our lives. As a therapist, I facilitate the change process, increasing a client's coping, self-esteem and self-awareness, and life satisfaction.

Hey there! We might be a good fit . . . if you understand that life comes with challenges AND we ALL have a story! I truly enjoy introducing my clients to the universal assignment of inner work, lessons, and personal growth. Are you effectively managing your personal narrative? We often experience stagnation and victimhood when we FEEL stuck, get distracted or obsessively worry. But that's life, right? It happens from time to time.

I have discovered that the solution to every problem is available within the heart and mind of every person and that each person has the innate capacity to access their own wisdom in order to move through whatever life brings them. Because of this, our work together is inherently empowering, positive and life-transformational.
Whether issues are from the past or from the present, whether they arise from the mind, emotions or physical body, the whole person is taken into consideration. Using powerful releasing techniques relief can be easily and effortlessly experienced.

Many people grow up in dysfunction and therefore they relate in inappropriate ways. Clients that I have helped the most typically relate to these dysfunctional ways: They guess at what normal is. They judge themselves without mercy. They have difficulty relaxing and enjoying life. They have difficulty with intimate relationships. They over-react to changes over which they have no control. They constantly seek approval and affirmation. They feel that they are different from other people. They avoid conflict or aggravate it; rarely do they deal with it. They fear failure, but sabotage their success.

I believe that healing is an attitude that is available to everyone and comes from within, which often needs coaxing and cultivating. Healing is not necessarily a state of perfect physical or mental health but is a range of positive adaptations that can be taught and learned. I use a person-centered approach, collaborating with my clients to work towards healing the whole person and improving their quality of life. I enjoy working with individuals, families, couples, adolescents, and children on a variety of different issues. I look forward to walking beside my clients with compassion and empathy, as they explore their own path.

I’m passionate about supporting people along their path of healing: whether it’s learning to stand in your power, restoring yourself after loss, or finding your center again after a life transition, trauma or experience of oppression. I work to support you in expressing your one unique voice; helping you to identify your values and act with integrity and courage. My approach incorporates the whole human experience. I draw upon the creative and expressive arts to invite healing and change, first helping you learn to identify and express your feelings, cope with overwhelming stressors, and then exploring next steps.

"We all have our stuff." I heard a wise woman say this years ago. We might feel overwhelmed by all the expectations of life - of adulthood. We might be carrying the weight of something terrible that has happened in our lives. We might feel deeply alone - even when we are around other people. Maybe we feel out of control or lacking discipline, struggling to break habits that we know are bad for us. Whatever the case may be, you are not alone. Lots of people come to therapy. Lots of people feel much better after trying it.

When does wanting something more become an issue? When our normal desire for change has no recognized solutions. When our wants lead to self-rejection or frustration that keep those we care about at arms-length. When we disengage to avoid expressing a need, but get accused of not caring. We prepare for arguments before entering the room and the script plays out as expected, but it's not what we want. These are common struggles without generic answers. Relationship dynamics are as unique as the individuals who live them, which is why change requires specific approaches addressing unique issues.
