Practice and Wait-list are Full. I work with women who are experiencing symptoms from the impact of trauma, loss and/or attachment-related issues. I utilize attachment focused EMDR. I have found that the majority of dysregulation and related symptoms (anxiety, depression, mood instability) can be effectively treated with attachment focused EMDR & other effective trauma treatment modalities.

Times of uncertainty often draw our attention to our fears and anxieties, but they also illuminate the things that are most important to us. Whether you’re wanting to learn more about yourself; worrying about your child’s well-being; suffering the loss of a loved one; processing abuse or trauma; experiencing a major life transition; feeling unsatisfied in your relationships; or are just wanting more out of life, therapy may be a great place to start.

OHP books closed w/exception of gender-affirming letters of support. Openings for therapy via OON/self-pay (mornings only). The past few years have led to major increases in stress, social isolation and depression or anxiety, and collective trauma (often leaving an unequal burden on Black, Indigenous, and other people of color). This may make it difficult to find joy, experience pleasure, and be active participants in our own lives. I provide evidenced-based supportive therapy for trans and LGBTQ+ young people (14 years+) and young adults (18-30s) experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficulty adjusting to significant life events.

By using compassion, humor, and research-based interventions I support older teens and adults who are struggling with a variety of adjustment issues, life stressors, and mental health challenges. I believe we are all wired for wellness but sometimes life gets in our way. I used solution-focused and brief therapy approaches to help clients learn new skills quickly. I specialize in working with stress, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, trauma, grief and health issues (traumatic brain injury, new medical diagnosis, etc.).
