As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, my goal is to provide a systemic and person-centered approach to individual and family therapy. I believe that every family and every individual have a unique story. My aim in therapy is to approach everyone with a lens focused on the ways in which development, historical trauma, relationships, and life occurrences have both positively and negatively impacted mental health

I have a passion for giving the youth we serve a voice and hearing their struggles during this very difficult time in our history. From a very early age, I knew that I wanted to help people find joy and hope during their time on the planet. I strive to see the potential and strengths in every person I have the privilege of serving. I have found my niche serving children as young as 8, adolescents, and young adults up to age 24.

Life can feel overwhelming when we are experiencing depression, anxiety, or a trauma that has impacted every part of us. It can feel like it's hard to get out of bed, it's impacting your relationships, or gets in the way of doing the things that make you happy. My experience working with youth in various settings of teaching, counseling, and telehealth, has given me an understanding that Gen Z has their own set of challenges to navigate, different from other generations.

I strongly believe that all humans can reach an optimum state of health. An essential part of achieving this often involves addressing limiting habitual patterns of behavior or belief systems as well as learning skills to optimize healthy relationships. I seek to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment in which clients can identify their own answers and achieve tangible results. This can occur both in individual sessions as well as with the collaboration of family members. My practice has lead me to work with youth, young adults, adults, and families facing some very challenging life situations and internal struggles.
