I am a dedicated mental health therapist with a specialization in working with clients aged 12 and older. With a strong background in human development and counseling, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy to help individuals navigate their mental health challenges.

I am accepting NEW clients. I am seeking clients who are ready to work on their personal struggles and gain insight into what is triggering symptoms. I am interested in individuals who are on the spectrum, the LGBTQIA community, Self-esteems and self love concerns, generational trauma, post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety, and depression. My philosophy is that each person has hope and acceptance with in them to utilize their strength, reach their goals and use their voice. My job as a therapist is to walk with each client through the journey of discovering who they are and how to live their live worth living. I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment to be able to process trauma that may be interfering with day to day life, learn and practice tools to ground and cope when triggers arise and to be able to problem solve in an unbiased place.

Hello and Welcome! I am Lorinda Sanders and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Idaho and Oregon. I've been in practice 25 years. I graduated from Walla Walla University with a Master in Social Work in 2000. My experience includes working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, career challenges, LGBTQ, relational conflict, grief and loss, and adjustment/transitional challenges. I use a number of therapeutic techniques including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ACT, Trauma Informed Care, Mindfulness and strengths based techniques. Although it can be intimidating to begin, therapy is a great place to let your guard down and share what's really going on inside. I'll help you find your way forward, and we'll do it together. I aspire to work with individuals in finding their most authentic self through self-exploration and identity work. I meet my clients where they are in the moment by providing empathy and understanding while also encouraging them to be the truest form of themselves with the inevitable highs and lows that life throws at us. I utilize various different therapeutic approaches to meet the goal of self-growth/evolution including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), existential therapy, and humanistic therapy.
