I am here for you. Truly comfortable with helping those who struggle with suicidal thoughts and self-harming, anxiety and overwhelm. I am at ease with working with persons who have met grief, those who have experienced trauma, and anyone who just can't find their peace. I typically use a blend of modalities to allow for a truly person-centered experience.

All families experience transitions, and even positive change can cause stress. I employ an eclectic approach with a strong emphasis on attachment, structural, and solution-focused family therapies. I work with young children and their caregivers to form secure attachments early on. This leads to more effective communication and problem solving patterns and a higher level of resilience down the road. My work tends to be short term and builds on the existing strengths of your family. My work with couples is attachment informed as we look at past and current relationships to elucidate our most fulfilling ways of connecting.

As a Black, non-binary, transracial adoptee, identity work is the name of my game. I often work with BIPOC and/or gender non-conforming individuals including children, pre-teens, and adults. I hold PhD in Clinical Psychology and a Master's Degree in Psychology. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, the aftereffects of trauma, and life-transitions. I work with adults and adolescents over 15 years old. The foundation of my practice is rooted in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and liberation frame work. While I work with clients from all walks of life, I have a focus on serving the BIPOC, Latinx and Hispanic communities. I specialize working with people who have experienced trauma and live with anxiety. I provide therapy in English, Spanish (or Spanglish!) and my priority is for clients to feel like they can be their most authentic selves.
