I specialize in perinatal mental health which means I work with individuals who are trying to conceive, pregnant, experiencing infertility, miscarriage or infant loss, and those new to parenthood. In our work we'll get honest about the highs and lows of the perinatal period. You will get to say out loud, the things so many women are thinking and feeling but so few speak of. My favorite conversations are the ones that start with, "I don't know if this makes me a bad person but..." I'm going to help you feel So Normal about the experiences you currently feel guilt, shame, and uncertainty around. And we'll find your path forward.

I provide online and in-person services in Jungian analysis and in-person Oregon state licensed psilocybin facilitation. People arrive at Jungian analysis for a variety of reasons, a life difficulty, crossroads, challenges with human relationships, curiosity around dreams and creativity, or a hunger to learn and explore Jungian topics. Jungian work is about reclaiming one's narrative, through integration of unconscious and conscious aspects of the self. This work can help a person feel more balanced and whole (the Jungian concept of individuation) or 'living life to one's truest state'.

My training as a couples, marriage and family therapist leads me to view client functioning in terms of relationships. My goal is to help clients bring forth a self that feels true and real. I help clients learn to ask for and receive what they need from others, embracing life and life's challenges with courage, renewed spirit, and a sense of wholeness. When clients feel supported, validated, and understood they often find that symptoms of depression and anxiety are relieved. Working with me, clients will learn to access their inner resources as we generate solutions together.

I am a clinical psychologist, licensed since 1986. My husband and I moved to Portland recently, and are enjoying the energy and cultural richness of the city. I enjoy traveling, yoga, jogging, and of course visiting our grandchildren. I provide evidence-based treatment for children, and teens with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ages 2-14, and coaching to parents and teachers working with children on the spectrum. I have 20 years of experience working directly with children building communication, play, social, and academic skills. I also work with other therapists whom I oversee and consult.
