But, they may be having some concerns in their current relationship dynamics. Or perhaps there's people pleasing behaviors or chronic overachievers. They may be asking themselves- why is this a pattern for me? This curiosity can lead to powerful transformations, less stress, and healthier boundaries.

I work with clients across the lifespan and provide parent consultations when working with children/adolescents. I provide support for anxiety, behavioral challenges, depression, family conflict, grief and loss, life transitions, peer relationships, school issues, and trauma. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for any work we will do together. When you feel safe within the therapeutic relationship, that is when real healing or progress can occur. I work with individuals and family systems from a relational-cultural perspective and with a trauma-informed lens.

I have a deep-rooted passion for delivering empathetic therapy and counseling services to children and adolescents grappling with mental health challenges. Through my extensive background in mental health counseling, I foster trusting and non-judgmental therapeutic alliances with children, adolescents, and their families. I employ a range of therapeutic techniques to address her clients’ mental health concerns and facilitate transformative growth by guiding them in reshaping harmful behaviors and thought patterns.

I provide neurodiversity-affirming care to adults with ADHD or other neurodivergence, and can provide perspective from my own lived experience. I specialize in working with men, and understand the ways that masculinity can complicate mental health and treatment. I take an eclectic, client-centered, evidence-based approach that focuses on combining the best available research with your individual preferences and learning/interaction styles. Our time in therapy will focus on teaching you skills to help you relate to yourself, your emotions, and your thoughts in more effective ways, while also exploring how those patterns formed.

I work primarily with children (10 years old and up) and teens struggling with a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns looking to understand the impact of their experiences. I approach care from attachment and family systems theory lenses, primarily utilizing motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and include family in treatment to best support the youth.

My approach to counseling is integrative, where I pull from different modalities and therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of each client. I want to make sure I am adhering to what the client wants and needs, which informs how I practice. I am grounded in a trauma informed person centered model. I believe each client is the expert.

I believe that a healthy outlook comes from having a good grasp of your ABC's... Accept, Balance, Cope. People often say things like, "I need to let it go," or "I need to forgive ...," etc. But we rarely talk about what it means to do that. Those phrases mean accepting that life is what it is-a balance of both good and bad-and making a choice to focus on the things we CAN change. Then "it" can stop directing our lives-we cope.
