I believe that being seen and heard in the caring non-judgmental presence of another creates an environment where deep healing can occur. I practice from a mind-body holism approach, meaning I honor the inseparable union of mind and body. Many of my clients benefit from somatic healing where years of previous talk therapy has only touched the surface. Together we will navigate a path towards understanding the natural somatic and emotional responses associated with difficult life events. I believe we all deserve to feel comfortable in our own skin and at home in our own lives.

My name is Ellen Eberhardt and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). For 16 years I have been a therapist. I provide a non-judgement and safe place to heal and grow as each client is unique.

As a therapist, I seek to create a therapeutic environment that embodies curiosity, trust, and mutual respect. I bring curiosity and a desire to understand my clients within the contexts they live in. By sharing curiosity around how personal, familial, and societal narratives influence the day-to-day lives of my clients, I strive to join with my clients as they intentionally step-aside from patterns of behavior that no longer serve them.

I value the unique experiences and narratives that an individual brings to their therapeutic process and celebrate the willingness to lean into the often-difficult work that therapy can elicit. It is my hope that the therapeutic process will illuminate the patterns and events that can and have created conflict and stress; and inhibit one’s feeling of wellbeing.

Most of my work is with children, teenagers and adults/families who are noticing big feelings that can be new or part of an ongoing story.

The belief that each person is uniquely made from their specific experiences drives my passion to connect and tailor treatment to each person’s individual needs. I enjoy working on topics that include but are not limited to building self-esteem and self-worth, learning to manage strong emotions.
