Thirty years of experience as licensed clinician working alongside children, young adults, and adults who have presented with a variety of mental health needs, adjustment concerns, transitions or life issues. I work with all ages and developmental stages of life. I do have specialty training providing play therapy along with seeing young adults and adults. I provide Clinical Supervision at the post graduate level for those practitioners working as Associates toward licensure.

I'm especially attentive to your higher powers of perception and positive self determination. Together we resolve present-day problems with roots in the past, changing patterns that produce familiar and unwanted results so you are freer to choose the life you want.

We've all had difficult experiences. I believe we can heal from these experiences, becoming more of who we truly are and want to be. I have worked with a large range of life circumstances including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem and loss. In these painful experiences we all are faced with healing pain. Together we can get life back on track.

In individual therapy, I specialize in women's health and work with anxiety, grief, life transitions, the unique presentations of ADHD in women, relationship challenges, CPTSD, PTSD, depression, and reproductive themes. In couples therapy, I specialize in navigating major life transitions, communication challenges, healing from trauma and intimacy issues. In family therapy, I specialize in major life transitions, grief, relationship and communication challenges and healing from intergenerational trauma. Our work together will focus on your specific needs and whatever is bringing you to therapy at this time. Questions always welcome!

I am a seasoned, virtual, private pay, pay what you can therapist. I graduated from the MFT program at Portland State University where I was trained in strategies and interventions that focus on you and the systems around you. I believe we develop our relationship strategies and our sense of self at a young age in ways that are adaptive to the world, and people, around us. Often times, we bring these old adaptive patterns to our adult relationships even when they are no longer serving us. I can help you to recognize and change these old relationship patterns, including your relationship with yourself, that no longer serve you.

I work with individuals, couples, and families. I have helped develop Process Oriented family therapy; Process Oriented sex and intimacy work; Process Oriented personal and historical trauma work; Process oriented coma and brain injury work, I have written 11 books on these topics. My work integrates mind body and spirit.

I am accepting new Tele-Therapy individuals & couples. It takes a lot of courage to admit you need help. However, it's the first step. I am excited to work with a vast array of clients, including those in the LGBTQ+/BDSM/Kink/Consensual Non-Monogamy community and those with religious shame, veterans, & those with criminal & substance use histories.
