I am deeply passionate about what I do with children and their families. It's a privilege to sit in a room or play with another human being and have them share with you their suffering, their joy, their anger, their confusion, their sorrow, and their successes.

I work with people of all ages, including children as well as families & couples.
Welcome, I'm Madeleine. I believe that therapy can create a secure space in which to feel, explore, & grow. I believe that you make sense. Your feelings, thoughts, anxieties, strengths, & patterns of interaction all make sense given the life you have lived, & I believe that you are the expert on your own life. Many of us are stuck in old patterns & reactions that no longer serve us, & we will explore the areas of your life & relationships where you would like to see change, movement, or growth. We will explore the important aspects of your life & identity, and the role they play in your life experience.

I have a wide range of experience working with children, families and young adults.
My passion comes from helping people grow internally as well as external. I believe in meeting people where they are and equipping them with the tools they need to connect with insight and peace. I strive to create a space that feels safe where this work can be done. I believe that each one of us has the capacity to heal and experience health and wholeness. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds especially those looking to use faith integration in practice. I also enjoy working with individuals who are struggling with depression and anxiety in particular kids and youth. I utilize a strengths-based approach in practice.

When engaging with children and the family/parent, I create a safe place to work through emotions and create a plan that meets the family’s/parent’s goals for their desired outcomes.
I provide compassionate, creative, and collaborative therapy focused on children ages 6 through 13 (and some adults) experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties. I do this through interactive play in a playroom, holding the space for the child to move through their thoughts and feelings at a pace and process that works for them. I utilize trauma-informed care with a “Rogerian” person-center approach focusing on the child’s personal strengths, hopes, dreams, and desires to help them develop insight about themselves and create lasting change that will enhance their life.

My approach is based on the belief that the client is the expert on their life and they have internal strength and resources to heal. My role is to accompany you on this journey to find your authentic self.

What matters is that you reach out today so that you and your child can get relief.
Parenting is a difficult job under the best of circumstances. But if your child goes from 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, frequently asks (or begs!) you not to make him/her go to school, and the principal has you on speed dial, then your circumstances are extreme. Don't fall into the trap of thinking you "should" be able to handle it. Situations like these don't resolve themselves and seeking professional help is the best thing you can do. I'm also happy to work with your child who may have smaller concerns before they get any bigger.

I specialize in a wide range of Women's Issues including Pregnancy, Postpartum Women and Couples, Relationship Issues, Child-free Women, Women Survivors, and more.
All of us face experiences in our lives where we can benefit from the support and connection that therapy provides. Scientific evidence demonstrates that a strong and consistent therapeutic relationship is restorative, healing and emotionally regulating. As a therapist, I believe in connecting with clients, human-to-human, and I regularly feel a deep sense of understanding for those with whom I work. There is so much noise around us that it is often difficult for us to hear our own truth. I offer a compassionate, heart-centered space to help you to deeply trust your own inner strength and core values.

I have been an LMFT since 1993. During that time I've had both education and experience with many of the issues we encounter as we pass through our lives. Couples, individuals and teens are the majority of my practice. We work on relationship problems, divorce and co-parenting, anxiety and depression and parent- child problems. I also have training and experience working with clients with sexual concerns and Active Duty Military, families and Veterans. I am currently accepting telephonic and video clients in Oregon. Telehealth has been extensively researched and found to have similar positive results as face-to-face.

Much of my professional experience has been with children, teens, and families, but I enjoy working with a large variety of people seeking therapy for a variety of reasons.
Welcome! I am an LPC-Associate trained in a program for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists with an emphasis in Depth (Jungian-influenced) Psychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I graduated in 2010. While I pull from a variety of theories in my work (Jungian, Rogerian, Attachment, Psychoanalytic, Narrative, and Expressive Arts Therapies), and I use various skills-based approaches in session (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play/Sand tray Therapy, and EMDR), I strongly believe that it is the therapeutic relationship, not the framework utilized, that truly helps people

I provide psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children, teens, and adults. I value working collaboratively with individuals and families to help identify specific concerns. I do this by looking at the whole individual including their biological/genetic development and what environmental factors may be contributing to current mental health symptoms. I provide a strength-based and non-judgmental space where we can figure out how the pieces fit together, what the whole picture means, and where to go next. I believe that psychological evaluations can lead to greater self-awareness and be a foundational steppingstone.

Hello! I specialize in supporting individuals from preschool-aged children to young adults, as well as military members and their families, through a range of developmental and emotional challenges. My work focuses on early identification, diagnosis, and treatment of mood disorders, disabilities, and life changes to help each person reach their full potential. In addition to my experience as a Director of a Patriot Support level 3 unit, where I have worked closely with active duty military personnel across all branches, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help new clients develop positive thinking patterns.
