I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association. I graduated with honors from Cornerstone University, Lake Charles La. with a PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling and a minor in Education.I am certified in: Marriage and Family; Crisis and Abuse; Domestic Violence and Intervention; Substance Abuse and Addiction; and Death and Grief. I use Cognitive,Temperament and Logo therapies. I work on a cash and card basis. FSA and HSA cards honored.

I am a father, husband, farmer, and firearm owner... an ultra marathon paddler who regularly trains in tactical firearm skills, and a member of my local reformed Christian church. Everyone needs a little help sometimes. Counseling can be that help. I am passionate about providing caring and skilled services to help individuals, couples and families find a way forward. Whether you need short-term counseling or more intensive treatment, I will collaborate with you to meet your goals. As a professional counselor and certified brain health professional, I am experienced and trained in a number of evidenced based practices, including EMDR, CBT and DBT. As a counselor who is also a Christian, I also offer a faith-based approach to services upon request.

He earned his Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy (M.S. MFT) at Oregon Institute of Technology, where he received specialized training and certification in Integrated Behavioral Healthcare, Medical Family Therapy and Advanced Systemic Addictions Counseling. Chad has experience supporting clients with substance abuse, addiction and the management of complex biopsychosocial health concerns. Before entering the therapy field, Chad worked as a pastor in a local Christian church. During his time as a pastor, he served alongside youth, couples and families providing pastoral counseling and support through various life-challenges.

My desire is to help individuals, couples and families to navigate through life's issues by applying Christ-centered counseling. My Bible-based approach will acknowledge that life can be difficult, but that each person is created uniquely and wonderfully by God, and He has a good future in store for His children.

In my work as a therapist I find satisfaction in helping individuals find peace. Our world may have reasons to feel unsettled. However, there are also many reasons for hope. I find it very rewarding to witness family relationship growth, such as when a parent and child connect. My goal is to be a resource for those suffering from life stressors, normalized grief processes, and loss. Therefore I encourage conversations about areas of strength, successes that are often overlooked, and relational healing that can take place. I often incorporate a solution-oriented approach in working with children, teens, parents, and couples.

Making the decision to begin counseling can be difficult, and even feel a bit scary at first. I have a friendly, relaxed, and intuitive approach that I bring into our space that we will create together through telehealth. Relationship is important in the therapeutic process and I put great care into establishing a safe and secure foundation for us to work from. For my younger clients, I focus heavily on the parent-child relationship and family systems work, as that will be the most important relationship to strengthen in our time together. My goal as a Tele-Health therapist is to provide a safe and welcoming, non-judgmental, environment to collaboratively identify struggles, traumas, issues, and problems that have been difficult to overcome, then support and help guide you in developing skills that lead to a more fulfilling life. While serving In the U.S. Army, I noticed how a devoted therapist can have an immense impact on a person's recovery. After completing my enlistment, I decided to pursue a career in Mental Health.
