I know how difficult it can be to open up to someone about your most vulnerable, hidden self. This step is often the hardest to take, and although taking it means facing thoughts and feelings you'd rather not, it also means creating a path of healing for yourself. I strive to provide my clients with a safe, therapeutic space filled with compassion and empathy to support them while we take on this challenge. Together, we will begin to explore the feelings and experiences that cause you pain.
My approach to therapy looks to connect with my client and getting to know the parts that make them a whole person. Whether the struggle is building healthy relationships, or related to anxiety, mood, or trauma, I work best with clients who are interested in increasing their awareness and insight for enhanced self-understanding and self-soothing skills.
I ultimately hope to help you create meaning of the past, fully live in the present and look to a more hopeful future. If you constantly live in your head and stray away from the present moment, this moment is where you can finally take control. The important thing to remember is that you don't have to do it alone.
