I work with clients who want to build a life they can love. Many of us come to therapy seeking help through a difficult period, healing from an experience (or a lifetime of them), or relief from a source of emotional pain. As your therapist, I bring empathy and compassion to our work together. You are not to blame for the difficulties you experience and at the same time, healing will mean journeying into difficult areas within yourself. I create a caring and empowering space for that exploration; help you identify, understand, and challenge an oppressive world; and co-create a life you can love living.
I work from a person-centered lens and include aspects of narrative, psychodynamic, and solutions-focused therapy in my approach. At all times, I honor my clients' stories, histories, cultures, relationships, and experiences of intersectional oppression and center your goals, strengths, and capabilities in our work together.
I support you as we journey through life’s difficulties and, where you want it, help you create sustainable and life giving change. I’m also passionate about helping navigate issues of religious deconstruction/decolonization, religious trauma, masculinity/ies, and multiple cultural identities (e.g. immigrants, bi/multiracial folks, third-culture kids/TCKs).
