My philosophy is; I present my services as a person with the knowledge of a professional. What I mean by that is, I may be providing a service, but we're just two people having a conversation. It is very important for me to have my clients feel comfortable, and to know that they are getting my complete authentic self.
The majority of my professional background is working with individuals, families, and groups on issues that effect their quality of life. I like to fluidly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client Centered, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Therapy.
I want people to feel at ease when discussing things that cause them discomfort. From my own experiences with therapy, as well as working with a distrustful population, it is vital that you as the client know that I truly want to help, and that I will celebrate each moment of triumph with you, as well as grieve every moment of difficulty.
